Eye Fillet Steak With Spicy Fried Rice & Hot Dipping Sauce

Ingredients
Steak
- 4 Eye Fillet Steaks
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt
Hot Dipping Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp Sriracha Sauce
- 100 ml Soy Sauce
Fried Rice
- 1 cup Jasmine Rice
- 1/2 Red Capsicum
- 1 Zucchini
- 1/2 Broccoli
- 4 Mushrooms
- 1 Large Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 20 grams Ginger
- 3 Red Chillis
- 4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 bunch Coriander
- 80 ml Soy Sauce
- 3 tbsp Fish Sauce
Instructions
Steak Preparation
- Mix Oil, steak and salt in bowl and set aside
Hot Dipping Sauce
- Mix Sriracha and soy sauce in bowl and set aside
Spicy Fried Rice
- Cook the rice being careful not to overcook. Wash and set aside
- Finely chop onion, coriander stalks, garlic, ginger and chillis. Set aside
- Add Oil, Steak and salt to dish and mix well for even coating - Then set aside
- Finely chop capsicum, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms and coriander. Set aside
- Heat oil in wok and add onion. Fry off for 3 mins, stirring regularly. Add coriander stalks, garlic ginger and chillis, frying for 2 mins. Add the chopped vegetables and stir well cooking for 2 minutes stirring regularly. Add the rice, soy sauce and fish sauce and mix through thoroughly. Salt and pepper to taste. Add more soy sauce if required. Remove from heat
BBQ Steak
- Heat the plate up until smoking hot. remix the steak in oil and salt then add to hot grill. Sear the steak to seal in the juices - Cooking for 3-5 mins (depending on how you like your steak). Turn once and cook for additional 3-5mins until ready. Remove from grill and set aside to rest.
- To serve, add steak and fried rice to plate. Pour hot sauce over steak. As you cut your steak, dip it in the hot sauce for maximum flavour.... Enjoy!
